Fitness Class Timetable

Group Fitness Classes

Barbell (60 mins):

Our barbell class strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like Squats, Presses, Lifts and Curls. Do your weights workout among friends and no pressure to stay in time.

Spin (45 mins):

Spin is an indoor cycling workout in which you ride according to your instructor’s directions. There’s no better pure cardio workout!

Boxing (60 mins):

A boxing class run for fitness instead of bruises. Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness can participate. These classes are very popular. No need for your own gear but you might want to get your own if you do the classes regularly because it’s just always nicer to have your own stuff! Find out more.

Circuit (60 mins):

Run through a circuit in the group fitness room, made up of a variety of exercises with varying work and rest periods! Enjoy the variety of doing different exercises – interval training at its best!

Pilates (30-60 mins):

A slow paced, low impact class following pilates principles of combining strength with flexibility.  Exercises are easily tailored to individual needs. Suitable for anyone, from injury rehab through to high level athletes.

Karate (60-90 mins):

Traditional Shotokan Karate, teaching discipline, body awareness, speed and power. A very upright skills-based martial art, focussing largely on distance, balance and technique. Training uniforms are not required immediately and can be purchased when students decide to continue training. Dedicated students can grade for belts (grading costs involved) and even achieve an internationally recognised black belt. Find out more.

Includes kids classes – best suited to children from 8 years to 12 years. these classes are designed to introduce children to self defense, co-ordination, hard work and co-operation, while incorporating some fun martial-arts related games.  Children hone their discipline, however they are expected to have some level of discipline already.  Find out more.

Metafit (30 mins):

30 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training to give your metabolism a kick first thing in the morning!  These classes are challenging but also very fun and can be done at a level to suit anyone.  If you want to improve your cardio fitness and love variety, then Metafit is for you!

Pound (45 mins):

These super fun workouts are done with the Pound drumsticks – jam to awesome rock tracks and find your inner rockstar!  Get a whole body workout and have the most fun you will ever have while working out!

FitRanX (30-45 mins):

A revolutionary approach to fitness – if you have trouble staying motivated with training, if you need guidance, if you want to learn how to use kettlebells, if you love training amongst friends, then FitRanX is for you!  It is truly the best way to train and you will see why when you get started!  Learn more

Group Weights (60 mins):

60 minutes for you to practise weight training technique with Danielle, from super sets to pyramids, from dead lifts to shoulder press, this is a fun workout and gets you educated about correct weight training techniques.
